Guided tour Doge's Palace and Secret Itineraries in Venice

The Palazzo Ducale in San Marco has always been the political center of the Venetian State, Government Headquarters, residence of the Doge and headquarters of the Court and the State Prison.

It has majestic and elegant appearance, softened by Byzantine and Oriental shapes, with many functions, many activities and many secrets.

Palazzo Ducale has been used as Government Headquarters, with its official and delegation rooms where you can admire extraordinary paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese, Tiziano.

It has also been used as the Headquarters of the Justice of the Republic, with its Court, its secret and hidden passages and its prisons.

During our visit, we will see and admire two aspects: the official one, richly decorated, representative of the government, and the hidden one, less known, sometimes involving bloody prisons and prisoners, with the Torture Chambers, the execution room and Giacomo Casanova's cell.

It will be a fascinating and unforgettable visit that will allow you to discover the true essence of Venice and its politics.
